The group's palm oil production facility is located at Ban Huai Rian, 23 Moo 6, Sa Wiad Subdistrict, Tha Chang District, Surat Thani Province. This facility serves as the group's key production hub, with the capability to extract and process palm oil from fresh palm fruit to meet the demands of both domestic and international markets. The production process is modern, taking into consideration environmental standards and sustainability.
The production process of crude palm oil consists of several key steps. The first step is to select and harvest the palm fruits. Then, the fruits are steamed to soften them and facilitate the separation from the bunches. Next, the oil is extracted from the palm fruits and the crude palm oil is cleaned to remove impurities and contaminants. Finally, the oil is quality-checked and stored in tanks awaiting use or export. The process is as follows:
Crystallization: The semi-refined palm oil (RBDPO) is placed in a tank for crystallization, where the temperature is gradually lowered using a cooling water bath at 32°C and then to below 15°C. The cooling process is carefully controlled to achieve the desired crystallization period. The resulting crystals resemble fish eggs and are prepared for the filtration process.

Transesterification : Semi-refined palm oil (RBDPO) undergoes crystallization by cooling the oil in a tank using a cooling bath at 32°C and then to below 15°C. The temperature is gradually reduced over specified periods, resulting in crystals that resemble fish eggs, preparing them for the filtration process.
Methyl Ester Flashing : The semi-refined palm oil, now resembling fish eggs, is filtered using a membrane filter to separate palm fat. The resulting pure palm fat (RBDST) is then used to produce biodiesel and palm oil olein (RBDPL). The biodiesel and palm oil olein are stored in tanks, awaiting distribution to industrial clients or repackaging under the brand name “Rinthip.”
Methyl Ester Washing : The biodiesel, which still contains soap, is mixed with water and agitated. It is then passed through a separator to separate the biodiesel from the soapy water.
Methyl Ester Drying : The biodiesel is dried using heat and a vacuum system to remove moisture, resulting in finished biodiesel (B100).
Glycerin Flashing : Glycerin obtained from the transesterification process undergoes a methanol recovery process to remove excess methanol, which is then recycled for further production. The remaining glycerin is separated.ป
Glycerin Separation : Soap is removed from the glycerin using hydrochloric acid, producing fatty acid (acid oil). The glycerin is then neutralized by adding alkali and heating, resulting in crude glycerin with a purity of 80% – 85%.
