Our company operates a state-of-the-art palm oil production facility located at 23 Moo 6, Ban Huay Lian, Sawaed Sub-district, Tha Chang District, Surat Thani Province. This facility is dedicated to the refining of palm oil to produce high-quality products, ensuring the highest standards of excellence. The production process involves key stages such as the removal of sticky residues, bleaching, filtration, and deodorization, culminating in the production of semi-refined palm oil (RBDPO) that meets stringent criteria for both consumption and industrial applications. The facility is equipped with advanced technology to ensure that all products are of the highest quality and safety standards.
Degumming : Crude palm oil is introduced into the refining plant where it is heated to a high temperature. Phosphoric acid is added to the hot oil, and steam is introduced. This process facilitates the separation of compounds that are soluble in water and the removal of sticky residues. Following this, the oil is filtered to separate out the impurities.
Bleaching : The degummed palm oil is then subjected to bleaching. The oil temperature is further increased and it is mixed with bleaching earth. This step reduces the oil’s turbidity and clarifies the palm oil, making it suitable for consumption.
Filtration : The bleached palm oil undergoes filtration to remove the bleaching earth and other contaminants. This ensures that the oil is free from impurities and ready for the next stage.
Deodorization : The oil is heated to a higher temperature to remove palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD). A vacuum system is used to extract the volatile fatty acids which are then condensed. This process results in the production of refined, bleached, and deodorized palm oil (RBDPO).
